SENHABITAT 2025: 5th Senegal International Real Estate, Housing & Construction Exhibition & Conference
Organized regularly since 2016, the International Housing and Construction Exhibition “SENHABITAT” is the most important event organized by the Ministry in charge of Housing and AME Trade Senegal Sarl to periodically reflect on the issues, challenges, innovations and development prospects of the sector with all stakeholders: local authorities and financing institutions, research and development institutes, universities and colleges, manufacturers, the private sector, technical and financial partners, diplomatic representations.
The fifth (5th) edition of the international housing and construction fair “SENHABITAT-5” takes place under the leadership of His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye DIAKHAR FAYE, fifth President of the Republic of Senegal elected in February 2024, for whom this is the first participation. It comes following the launch of the Senegal 2050 vision, a new framework for public policies, one of the axes of which is “Planning and sustainable development of territories”.
This international exhibition and conference have consistently brought together housing ministers and influential policymakers from countries such as Senegal, Morocco, Mali, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Niger, Togo and Gambia, making it a vital platform for networking and growth in West and North Africa.
SENHABITAT 2025 is an opportunity to connect with regional and international professionals, build your business network and explore new partnerships in the booming real estate, housing and construction sectors.
The show thus offers a framework for exchange that is both open and inclusive, bringing together the entire community: political actors, the private sector, investors, researchers, inventors, innovators and users, around housing and construction issues. It is the institutional meeting where the policies implemented must be reinvented to achieve the global and local objectives of the housing and construction sector, which are, among others, sustainability, productivity and universal access. There is therefore no need to recall that the organization of SENHABITAT-5 jointly with the 1st SYMPOSIUM of African architects is first and foremost the expression of the government’s desire to build an efficient, attractive and competitive construction and housing ecosystem.
With this new orientation, the development of urban territories, habitat, housing, finds itself at the center of the priorities of the State and the action of the government, not and for their size, but even more for what they are: the strategic levers for building inclusive economic growth while contributing to the reduction of unemployment and the creation of sustainable jobs, the path towards sovereignty, solidarity and prosperity.
