DAKAR, SENEGAL — May 23, 2026 — AMETRADE Senegal, under the auspices of the Ministry of Urban Planning, Local Authorities, and Regional Planning of Senegal, officially announces the postponement of the 6th edition of the International Housing, Housing and Construction Exhibition in Senegal, known as SENHABITAT 2026.

Originally scheduled to take place from June 16 to 18, 2026, the international event has been rescheduled by decision of the Ministry of Urban Planning, Local Authorities, and Regional Planning. The exhibition will now take place on October 22, 23, and 24, 2026, at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in Dakar, Republic of Senegal.

A Commitment to Excellence and Strategic Alignment

This calendar adjustment is a measured adaptation dictated by the current context. The decision to postpone reflects the organizers’ strict standards of quality and their commitment to ensuring that SENHABITAT benefits from the full engagement of public authorities and all sector stakeholders.

By shifting the dates to October, AMETRADE Senegal and the Ministry aim to provide all participants, partners, and exhibitors with optimal organizational conditions that match the high collective ambitions set for this landmark sixth edition.

The organizing committee wishes to reassure all confirmed stakeholders that this date change will not disrupt their current arrangements:

• Validity of Registrations: All existing registrations remain fully valid for the new dates in October.

• No Extra Administrative Burden: No additional steps or procedures are required from participants.

• Contractual Safeguards: All contractual commitments entered into as of this date are maintained under their initial terms.
